On Tap Showcase 2008

Showcase 2008, did
we have
fun or what!
All around it was a wonderful day in the ON TAP neighborhood
Saturday, May 31. Thank you to all dancers,
family, and friends that shuffled to the showcase. I hope you all had
the fun and good times you so deserve. I was sooo proud of all the
dancers. On time. Costumes fresh and perfect. Helping always. Dancing
AND Smiling. There for the “whole deal”. I am so appreciative for all
the help from the minute the doors opened until the last light was shut
off. You are all such an inspiration for all of what is right with the
world.
Thank you for the beautiful flowers. They are a reflection of all your
beautiful smiling faces. Thanks to Ginny Hollon for watching out for all
of us. Thanks to Anna and Casey Braun for tending to the zoo dishes,
décor, and ushering. Thanks to Deborah Barber for being our “raffleer”
and chief quilt hanger (along with Sarah, Danica, and Sheri) . Thanks to
Tim McCready for hanging the piñata. Thanks to Alisse McCready and
Martha Pynch for helping with costumes. Thanks to Wendy Collins &
Theresa Erickson for taking pictures. Thanks to Bobbe Priddy and Sarah
Hoggatt for helping till the sun went down. Thank you to all who came
early to set up, brought yummy food to share, shim sham shimmied, and
danced their hearts out. You all should be very proud of yourselves. I
look forward to the next time we are all gather for Showcase 2009!
We took a lot of pictures that
day, so they are broken up into two pages.

"Rock Around the Clock"
What a finish! |

We had a
"Rock Around the Clock" piñata the kids took turns trying to break open
with one of our canes.
|

Stacey held the rope for our piñata,

|

The kids
really enjoyed all the candy that came out! |

The
dancers gave Stacey flowers to thank her for all she does for us.
Above and beyond does not begin to describe it. |

Sarah and Stacey dancing "Jingle Bell Rock".
Christmas in May sounds a little odd until you understand what a cold
year we've had! |
|

Sarah and Stacey did a great job bringing some
holiday cheer to our festivities! |

Danica,
Sheri, and Connie are ready for their next dance. |

Our audience anticipating the finale. |

We had so much fun dancing it for the show! We hope you enjoyed our
rhythms as much as we did! |

Stacey
